Same-Sex Marriage Legalized in California SLDN applauds the men and women whose hard work has made same-sex marriage in California a reality. However, lesbian, gay and bisexual service members should clearly understand that marrying someone of the same sex in California or Massachusetts means risking their military careers. Unfortunately, the federal "Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell" law states that members of the armed forces will be discharged if they marry, or attempt to marry, someone of the same sex.
Raising the Barr Former Congressman Bob Barr yesterday announced he will seek the Libertarian party's nomination for president in 2008.
